The April seminar in Badenweiler is steadily gaining in stature and we are pleased to announce that Rajan Sankaran, after the great success of the last two years (review 2007, 2009), will also be our guest in April 2010. This time we are showcasing the integration of the older knowledge base of homeopathy with the newer ideas on homeopathic methodology. Rajan will be discussing his concept of 7 levels and the kingdoms. Lively and informative video cases will be used to be bring these ideas to life.

The Sensation Method Rajan Sankaran is the originator of the ‘Sensation Method’, which has given fresh tools to the practice of homoeopathy in the twenty-first century. His revolutionary concepts – such as Levels of Experience, Vital Sensation and Kingdom Classification – and techniques such as following the energy pattern of the patient, working with hand gestures and using doodles are now being taught and practiced throughout the world.
Though there is much that is new in the understanding of disease, the approach to the patient and to the remedy, the method as practiced by Rajan himself actually seamlessly integrates new ideas and approaches with the old, where knowledge of remedy and of kingdom; of symptoms and of systems, complement each other and take the homoeopath to a point where there is no difference.

When we study Lachesis from our Materia Medica and we read symptoms like sensitivity around the throat, tongue darting in and out, extra sensory perception, sensitivity to extremes of heat and cold etc., are we not hearing the voice of the snake? The knowledge of Lachesis from our Materia Medica helps us to understand snakes; similarly an understanding of snakes helps us see Lachesis more clearly and we can see it as a part of a group of reptiles. When we do that our vision goes to other members of the group and the possibilities for a closer prescription increase, our remedy selection is so much more exact.
Family themes
This applies in equal measure to plant families and the study of the rows and columns of the periodic table in the mineral kingdom. The study of individual remedies gives us the idea of the whole group to which they belong and this understanding does enhance, broaden and deepen our understanding of other remedies of the group, both well known and lesser known. This exponentially expands the possibilities for and scope of remedies.
We are able to deliver a truly homoeopathic cure to many more than we could earlier. The concept of this seminar will be an integration of the old and the new.
ABOUT RAJAN SANKARAN
Dr. Rajan Sankaran is internationally renowned as a clear thinker who has invented innovative, ground-breaking concepts. Particularly his view of illness as a „delusion“ (misjudgement of one’s own situation), the inclusion of mental symptoms and dreams, his classification of the remedy pictures into kingdoms and his additions to the existing miasms have rendered him famous. His most recent book on the plant kingdom and the seven levels is growing increasingly popular. More and more homoeopaths take up his ideas and put them into practise with considerable success.
Due to his clear and uncomplicated manner, Dr. Sankaran has become a teacher who is much demanded all over the world: His seminars and courses are equally well attended in India and abroad. Together with his colleagues, he founded „The Homeopathic Research and Charities“, an institution which offers a great varienty of courses and training programmes. Nowadays known as „the Bombay method“, Dr. Sankaran’s method of the „Vital Sensation“ is set to revolutionize the way how we can truly understand our patients and how we can prescribe the correct remedy at any time.
This is what Dr. Sankaran himself says about his new method: „In my most recent development, I consider the discorvery of the Vital Sensation to be the most central point. The seminar will be held in English and translated simultaneously into German. As the number of participants is limited, we recommend that you register early.
On the evening of the first day of the seminar, we would cordially like to invite you to our publishing house in Kandern. We will offer you drinks and Indian snacks, and Rajan Sankaran will use this opportunity to sign his books. You are also welcome to look through our large range of books, spread out over four floors. There will be a bus transfer (free of charge) from Badenweiler to Kandern and back, leaving Badenweiler at 7 p.m., transfer time to Kandern is 20 minutes, return to Badenweiler at 9.00 p.m.). REGISTRATION
The registration is valid as soon as the seminar fee has been credited to our account. In case of direct debit, we will debit your account with the relevant sum six weeks prior to the beginning of the seminar. There will be a cancellation fee of € 25,- if you cancel up to two weeks prior to the beginning of the seminar. If you cancel less than two weeks in advance, no money can be reimbursed.

Stay on the motorway (Autobahn) A 5 until you reach the exit „Müllheim/Neuenburg/Badenweiler“ (exit 65). From there, follow the signs to „Badenweiler“ (around 12 km). In Badenweiler drive in the direction of „Parkplatz West/Parkhaus“. From there, you can walk to the “Kurhaus” (ca. 200 m). By train and bus
Take the train to Müllheim (Baden). From there, you catch the bus no. 111 to Badenweiler, the bus stop is „Evangelisch (ev.) Kirche“. From there, you walk for approx. one minute in the driving direction of the bus. You will reach a large square with a fountain, and on you right you can see the „Kurhaus” (terraced building).
